Did a sneaky wash of the motorhome this morning seeing as we were the only people on the motorhome site. Guy couldn’t find the steps in the ‘garage’ and thought we must’ve left them at the storage place back home. We washed the bottom two thirds but all the time I was secretly thinking he’s only had a ‘boy look’. He found them when he went to put the bucket away. 🙄
We set off for the coast, fancying a rest and some warmth for a few days. Along the way we encountered our first traffic jam – sat for about twenty minutes but still not sure what it was all about.
After a stop for lunch and groceries, it was around 4pm by the time we got here.

Caorle is just east of Venice and we’ve been here to Camping Laguna Village a couple of times before with our boys. Different with a motorhome though. Check in took forever and now we are wearing the obligatory wrist bands. The pitch took a bit of squeezing in to but sorted eventually.
Went for a walk along the vast beach; you can walk out in the sea forever here and still only be up to your waist, and, as I remember, it’s warm! I’ll let you know tomorrow. 🏖
