It seemed quite noisy in the city last night. Think we’re just not used to it and we had parked on the equivalent of Peel Street! Lots of rain again – they get 260 days a year of it in Bergen. We managed to dodge the worst of it and did a further explore of the centre – Sunday though, shops closed, no damage done. 😂

For a country with such strict rules on alcohol sales, it was quite funny to see 3 or 4 ‘traditional’ Irish pubs. Speaking of traditional, we had one of Norway’s speciality Cinnamon buns to keep us going. Chewy, doughy load of rubbish.☹️ The locals seem a bit more fashion conscious in the city – a few sharp suits and silly man buns. 😂
Late afternoon, we decided to move on for a quieter night and drove out towards Hardanger Fjord. Today’s tunnel challenge was a spiralling one with no lights – think you need a degree in driving to do Norway – lucky Guy has one! Along the way we got stuck behind the same German army truck cum lorry style motorhome that we’ve seen about 6 times since we were in Lom last week. You can’t miss him – he takes out whole tree branches when he parks and doesn’t bat an eyelid! 🤣
Parked up for the night at Steinsdalsfossen, a spectacular waterfall that you can walk behind. Thought we might as well get soaked again!
