We decided to follow the twisty, turny coast road out of Spain this morning. Sooo many bends, there was no chance for the driver to look at the scenery, as we wound our way past El Port de la Selva and Llanca. Both these tiny places seem to have grown massively since we last came this way.
Filled up with diesel before we hit France and so pleased with ourselves when we saw it was over €2 per litre.

Parked up for lunch in Port-Vendres thinking we’d walk round to Collioure once the rain stopped. Unfortunately, it didn’t stop, so in the end we drove round to Collioure and parked in the motorhome aire high up above the town.

Downhill all the way in. Such a beautiful place still, but really needs the sunlight on it to do it justice. The sea was almost as rough here as in Cadaqués yesterday. Had to risk a soaking to get round the causeway.

Uphill all the way back. We discovered some steps, hundreds of them in fact. Both needed resuscitation at the top. 😬
