Walked back through the town and around a park this morning then set off for Seville. Parked just on the edge of the city opposite a cruise ship which was a bit surprising. The thing about Seville, other than it being a fantastic place is…it’s full of horses. They are everywhere and Rufus hates them with a passion. We think he’s scared of them and this manifests itself with him launching himself towards them and barking on the top notes…just great in a crowded city. Even now at 7:30 we’re back in the car park but he he can still hear the distant clip clop of horses pulling carriages full of tourists around – we can’t hear anything other than a crazy terrier! 😡😡😡Anyway, once again some fantastic old buildings and all the streets lined with orange trees (although more green than orange at the mo). Lots of narrow roads packed with people but most of the shops were closed – All Saints Day! Wandered along with many water stops for Rufus until we reached the Metropol Parasol – the worlds largest wooden structure. It was quite impressive. On the way back we stopped for some watery Sangria and the worlds worst tapas. Can’t find any food shops either to add insult to injury. Pistachio nuts and an apple for dinner I think! On another note regarding this crazy dog – he seems to be something of a celebrity in Spain. People keep stopping us and asking if they can take a picture. Then they stroke him and he has a little friendly chew on their hand …then they leave.
