Magnan to Orio (Basque country not biscuit country)

Left about 9:45am after reversing out of the gates without any hiccups thankfully. Took the non motorway route to Pau then out to the coast. Popped in to Bayonne for some ham (…as you do!). I think they saw us coming, but the lady said it it’ll keep for a week once opened – not in our house love!! We then headed towards Biarritz but sadly couldn’t find parking – it was like the middle of Summer in Blackpool. Think we may revisit on our way back up when hopefully it might be a bit quieter. We’ll also know not to drive along the seafront as it’s a dead end – whoops …only a little bit hair raising. We then hit our first traffic jam 🚙🚛🚚🏎🚚🚚 but fortunately spotted a nice place on the edge of an estuary to camp for the night near Orio. Been for a walk to look over the sea wall and now tucked up for the night hoping that ‘no camping’ excludes motorhomes.😂
