A quiet night. Drove around the lake a little more this morning to Nyon. Another very pretty place but perhaps not quite as scenic as the Montreux end. There was a flea market on and it was super busy, so we were lucky to park. Had lunch and then reluctantly turned north with me driving.😵 Felt I’d been stitched up a bit as we started climbing up around the mountains of the Haut-Jura. Ok – maybe they were hills, but it definitely looked like a ski village at the top! We seemed to have been driving for ages and covered very little distance as we weren’t on the motorway. Once we did join the A39 we were up level with Dijon in no time. We’re now parked at the side of the river along with 14 other motorhomes, in a place called Lamarche-sur-Saone (middle of nowhere!). We’ve walked into the village and had a glass of red and a look at the church, then back to our field for grilled sausage, pepper and courgettes. Not too unhealthy till we shovelled in a dish full of tiramisu each to follow!

Nyon (Switzerland) to Lamarche-sur-Saone, near Dijon (France)
