After negotiating a very steep tricky road out of the campsite we crossed the bridge onto Murter this morning and headed straight towards Murter Town.C061143E-CC5D-4FDD-A1AC-DA6F1528E004 We could see last nights campsite across the water…it’s really weird to go onto a little island in the motorhome. The town looked quite old in one part …a bit like a French village with all the stone houses. All the narrow streets seemed to lead out to little boat moorings. We saw a very old man dragging a load of fruit boxes along the street – all tied around his waist! Guy said he was doing penance for something, but it just looked like his usual means of shifting stuff from a to b to me!! 14EC2A6A-6EBF-42B3-B1CF-BAA7A1DD6635Thought we’d drive to Slanica Beach for lunch but it’s obviously a very popular place as it was absolutely rammed. We followed another motorhome up a very narrow path, not realising it was leading to a campsite. Poor Guy had to negotiate people, trees, parked motorbikes and oncoming traffic – all very close to the edge of the sea -nightmare! It was full anyway 😂 but all we wanted to do was turn around! Miraculously, we got out and headed to the quieter beach at Cigrada which is just as lovely with a view out to the islands. We paid for the car park then once we’d had a look around, asked if it was ok to stay overnight and to our surprise he said ‘of course!’ Lovely afternoon sat on a rock. It became a bit overcast so not too hot. Rufus then insisted that we take him for an Aperol Spritz …no point arguing with him – he’ll only sulk!CC0DED0B-219F-43C1-9C70-59415D678F6A72FC9852-B371-4D44-A9B8-8D48D2FC559F
