Woke up really late this morning – I think the extra sleep was much needed. We decided to walk around the coastal path to Primošten.
Although the little old town looks amazing from a distance it’s not really much to shout about when you get into it. We did a circuit round it, then armed with some unhealthy stuff from the local bakery, we headed back towards the wooded promontory on the northern side. Although the beach is just white gravel, the water here is amazingly clear and the pine trees make it look like a bit of paradise.
I managed to brave the cool water and went for another swim. I’m now one up on Guy so he’ll have to do two tomorrow
Walking back, we saw a baby praying mantis on the path. I’m sure they are aliens. Marginally preferable to spiders though!
Got to the campsite just in time to see another glorious sunset. Wondering if we can eek another day out here tomorrow – it’s forecast 25 degrees. Sounds like a perfect temperature to me.
