We kind of knew we weren’t supposed to stay overnight in the car park, but several others were doing it, and word on the street was ‘if you buy a ticket early in the morning, they won’t know you’ve stayed’. It’s not something we’d normally do but there really was nowhere else last night.
Guy set the alarm for 6:45 and ended up queueing to get a ticket 😂Once back at the van, ticket in window, got back in bed. A sharp knock on the door at 7:45 – the car park warden. This is when we were supposed to say ‘just got here mate’ however, answering the door in your ‘jamas kind of gives it away!!!
He let us off the hook as we’d bought a ticket- kind man.
Probably the less said about today, the better as both getting completely soaked twice makes me want to whinge about the weather.
Good coastal walk this morning in the squally horrible wind and rain. Same this afternoon, with me giving up and coming back to the van while Guy tackled the Worms Head – a tidal island reached by a rocky causeway. Good photos …I think he said it was worth getting soaked for 🤔..
Got off the peninsula and parked near Burry Port in torrential rain. Then, guess what? 7pm out of the blue, the sun comes out. Bit late.
