No rain in the night…hurrah! This was a good thing as we had all the skylights open and the heating on, trying to dry our clothes out.
Almost sunny this morning when we had a little walk around the Burry Port area. Lots of birds and birdwatchers around.
Had a pit stop in Carmarthen for a food shop, then struck really lucky with an outside tap at Morrison’s petrol station. They were happy for us to use it and its given us another two or three days water.
Arrived in an extremely busy Saundersfoot, at a car park with just two dedicated motorhome spots. Unbelievably one was free! We decided to walk to Tenby as we knew there’d be no chance of parking there. Very uphill most of the way and seemed further than the 3.3 miles Google Maps said.
Tenby was rammed with people but what a lovely place. Very colourful especially when the sun came out. It was almost warm at times…until the wind blew.
Walked past the old lifeboat station that’s now a house that featured on Grand Designs, then up and down the pretty narrow streets with a thousand others.

Thought we might get fish n chips but the queues were unbelievable. Missed the bus back and was getting cold, so decided to walk again …it came past just as we reached Saundersfoot 🙄

Queued for fish n chips and was given a ticket saying number 46….then we heard them call out number 8!!! Wasn’t as bad as we thought, luckily.
Drove out the other side of Tenby and now parked up with a few others in the peace and quiet.

Ahhhh you’ve visited Tenby! We lived there for 3 1/2 years when our two wer born. Colin ran the Boots there. Xxx
Wow – lucky you! Beautiful place to live I should think but a bit busy in the summer months. Guy says we’re following in your footsteps all the time 😂…Lake Bled, Granada, now Tenby! Where to go next? (Can you make it warm & sunny). Hope you’re all ok – Gill said Callum got the dreaded C – hope he’s made a good recovery xx
