Salamanca to Caceres

Got here at lunchtime. Fab free parking spot with water and waste disposal. We thought we had the best spot with some shade until we realised we’d parked next to the bins! We moved just in time before the last space was taken. Sat on the grass with Rufus in the shade. It’s been 26 degrees and still really warm now at 8:45pm. Really didn’t expect these kind of temperatures. Got the table and chairs out and had dinner (inadvertently sat next to the door to the toilet cassette – it’s becoming a theme!)before going into the town. Cáceres was the best town yet. A really old place with a huge square that felt proper Spanish! Didn’t dare sit down for a drink after last nights performance with Rufus so we’re back outside the Motorhome with a bottle of local Extremadura. 🍷
