On the road again today. First stop Lidl for everything – the fridge was bare. We did supermarket sweep whilst taking it in turns to look out the window and check on the van!
Drove out to the coast at Praia de Amoreira, a spectacular spot with views over the estuary. A couple of sad looking dogs came to watch us eat lunch ..it’s a good job you can’t take them home or the van would be stuffed and we’d have fleas.

Carried on to the south coast and ended up here at Eco Camp Salema …the most complicated campsite ever. After a long check in you’re allowed through a barrier and up a very narrow twisty road with scary cambers on the turns. If I go out alone I will be lost forever!
Parked near a motorhome with 4 barking dogs in it …maybe they’re collecting strays to take home?
Walked a couple of kilometres down to the beach but the weather turned a bit grey and there was no pavement along the road.

On the seafront, the toilets were not only boarded up but had acro props too to keep out the sea and strong people!
Last time we came here it was November – very hot, and we saw dolphins, but no sightings today sadly.
We can see lots of stars now though.
