Well, for us anyway. Trying to make use of the facilities here at Camping Riberamar, we fetched the key for the padel court this morning and proceeded to hit the ball anywhere other than within the court! A German couple turned up and asked if they could play as it’s actually a doubles game anyway. We tried to explain that we had the gear but no idea, but they said they were happy to run around for fun. I think the poor chap got more running around than he bargained for as he went to get the balls from various locations that I’d knocked out – including the roof of the swimming pool! 🤣 It was great fun though and I think we are improving very slightly 😬
After lunch we went for a walk along the beach in the opposite direction to yesterday and came across another nature reserve. Good news for Guy, who’d written off the whole area as a dump, but the bad news was, he hadn’t brought the camera as he was expecting more dump! Birds everywhere of all different species.
On the way back, we couldn’t believe all the motorhomes again – mainly German. Whole groups are parked in every car park and lay-by with solar panels set up, awnings out and some even had their cooking equipment set up on the pavement!
Fancied a swim in the heated indoor pool when we got back, but it sounded riotous in there as the group of schoolchildren had descended upon it. Gave it an hour then we had the pool almost to ourselves – nice and warm too.
Both barely able to move now, which isn’t a big issue until one of us needs to get down that big step to get out. 🤣
