Well, this is a weird place! It’s a massive resort that we’ve never heard of, full of huge deserted hotels and apartments interspersed with really grotty graffitied areas. By contrast, the many campsites are rammed with homies who’ve been here all winter.
We left our beach parking this morning still in quite thick fog and made our way up the motorway towards Castellón. We’ve virtually run out of data due to 02’s ‘wonderful’ fair usage policy. 63 days out of 90 is the limit now we’re out of the EU. Feels like such a step back in time, switching off mobile data and hunting for wifi. Finding services without the ‘Park4Nite’ app- very difficult, as we discovered this morning, trying to do it from a photo of a map!🤣
Landed at this campsite (against our better judgment) but it does have plenty of washing machines, free padel court and free wifi throughout the campsite. The last one should read free intermittent wifi in some areas! 🤣

Pegged out 3 loads of washing then went for a walk in the only clothes we had left! We were astounded at the size of some of the hotels with empty swimming pools, landscaped gardens and even a peacock in one of them!

After about three miles of the same thing we turned around and walked back. It turned misty and we were half frozen by the time we got through the door.
No rain forecast but I’m not falling for that one again. Washing is bagged up and filling the lounge!
