Warm day again! 🌞😁😎

Walked in to the town late morning. Well, I say town..it was more a string of islands. Very beautiful in parts but also quite industrial boatyardy kind of thing. We treated ourselves to a lunchtime Aperol-spritz on the harbour…it was lovely with the sun belting down.

We walked across a huge bridge to see the massive A frame fish drying racks. Not sure if they are still used, but some of them look like new ones and they do export their bacalao (salt cod) – the Spanish love it.

It was a very long walk back..we were beginning to wonder if we were on the right road. 10k later, we were nursing our sore feet whilst sat watching people braving the water to swim.

An Italian motorhome turned up next to us and we got chatting to a lovely couple who had recently retired. They shared their bottle of Puglian red wine with us and then produced some of the best Salami we’ve ever had. They were so generous and we only really had peanuts to offer in return. At 9:30 ish we came in to eat our half made salad!39A146B4-9310-49A3-84B0-DFDF4D1BBE3B
