The washing was dry – hurrah 😃! We continued our trek around the Gargano promontory this morning, stopping at Vieste at lunchtime. Fantastic little seaside place with a lovely cool old town to wander round. We had our first ice cream šŸ¦šŸ‘ – shared with Rufus of course, who needed a reward for managing all the steps. Stayed on the coastal road and Guy negotiated about 500 sharp bends. We kept passing little beaches but couldn’t see any roads leading down to them. We’ve ended up in Mattinata in another Sosta Camper which seem to be tiny campsites purely for motorhomes/campervans. Cheaper than a traditional campsite, but the cost will mount up if we don’t get some free nights in. This place is really lovely – lots of olive trees for shade and straight onto a white pebble beach. We’ve had to buy some of their olive oil as well …it’s so nice to just dip bread in and it’s not fattening at all! 🤣🤣🤣
