Peschici Again

Still here in Peschici, although we’ll have to move tomorrow now as we didn’t prepare enough for being on a campsite! We’ve run out of food (well, the interesting stuff anyway!) and our grey water tank is full as we forgot to dump it before we parked. As there don’t seem to be any supermarkets within walking distance and the campsite doesn’t have a place to dump the water, we’ll be off down the road in the morning. We’ve had a cleaning day, so only 3 photos tonight. Done two loads of washing …once the maintenance chap had been out to make the machine spring into action. Looks like we’re taking over the campsite with our lines up everywhere. It’s still not dry, so hoping for a miracle overnight – it’s really cool here after about 6pm. Guy took himself to town on foot to hopefully see a doctor as he thinks he might have an ear infection. Turned out to be an emergency drop in place so they couldn’t see him and apparently all the doctors here are private so the ehic won’t be any use. Will try a pharmacy tomorrow. Had a nice walk along the beach this evening but you wouldn’t dip your toe in the water. There were loads of dead jelly fish on the shoreline accompanied by several flip flops, bottles and plastic rubbish – not good. ☹️
