Paid what felt like a massive bill this morning for our 12 nights at Camping Moby Dick. It wasn’t really expensive considering where we were, it’s just that it’s unusual for us to stay in one place for so long. Felt sad to leave – even the maintenance man was super friendly and it felt like everywhere was just opening up for the summer. Was mid afternoon by the time we got away as the cyclist got one last ride in before we left.
Up to Girona then. Less than an hours drive. I got dropped off for some retail therapy at Espai Girones shopping centre whilst Guy went off to do the Lidl food shop. He didn’t bring chocolate croissants though – apparently, they’re a morning thing! Everywhere was really busy as it’s a Saturday so I didn’t last long. Got some room spray for when Rufus tries to gas us …now we’re choking on Gardenia instead – less is more! Found secure motorhome parking with services ten minutes walk to the old town – brilliant! High rise apartment blocks all around (how they love their aerials in Spain) so not much of a view but we’re tucked up safe and sound with video surveillance.

To Girona!
