…And why not? What a fab place this is.

Noisy night by the sea …it was great to listen to the waves crashing but the trains overhead didn’t seem to stop all night.

Drove on down the coast with a mutual decision to head for Camping Lino in Cervo. Not an Acsi site, which would’ve been cheaper but just a lovely friendly little campsite in a perfect place. It was as difficult as we remembered to get in and out of, and the owner chap likes to guide you in down to the last cm and then make sure you’re totally square! 😂

Got the washing in – half of the last lot we did never dried properly and has the wonderful aroma of socks.🙄The sun was shining so had an hour on the beach. There was a Bobcat digger going up and down shifting all the pebbles – kept Guy entertained for a little while! Had to move in the end as it was like sitting on a building site.

Early evening we walked up to the mediaeval town of Cervo up on the hillside. It’s only about ten minutes to the top but steps all the way. The last time we were here, Rufus was with us and Guy had to carry him down some of the steps; actually, I think he had to half carry me too after drinking some warm Prosecco!😂

There was a beautiful sunset and the walk down was easier than the walk up this time around.

A Return to Cervo
