A little cool and overcast this morning so we thought we’d have a walk around the coastal path to Golfet beach.
Just before we left, our Spanish neighbour came round to say “ Today, we are leaving, but before we go, I just wanted to congratulate you on your excellent music choices”
“Oh dear – really sorry, was it too loud?”
“Oh no – definitely not …I was straining to hear what was next over the noise of my children. The 90’s was my youth and I remembered most them – it was great!”🤣
I’m sure he could tell that the 80’s was more our youth but nice that he appreciated Guy’s birthday playlist!
Off we went around 11am on the very beautiful coastal path – beautiful with lots of steps that is. Then, the sun came through and as we arrived at the lovely beach, it was baking hot. No shade and no swimwear so it was quite a quick turnaround.
Came back via the road to avoid going up and downhill in the heat.
Cloud came over again after lunch and the energetic one decided to go for a ride …just as the heavens opened. Two hours later, he’d discovered yet another beautiful old town, but found it tough with a lot of uphills.
The sun returned around 5pm so we went up to the pool to cool off. Didn’t realise there was such a massive one here but seemed to be a bit underused today. One lap per glass of wine apparently- a certain person has already exceeded his quota! 🤣
