This morning, after Rufus had a scamper in the nearby park, we walked up to the newer part of Ragusa. Steps all the way – there must’ve been hundreds. The views of the old town were incredible. You can really see how the whole place was split in half by an earthquake. On one of the pictures, ours is one of the four motorhomes parked at the bottom. Whilst in the town, we went in the post office to post a card to England. Had to get a ticket first, like Argos, and then half an hour and three cashiers later it finally went on it’s way! We decided to do the long drive to Agrigento as there aren’t many points of interest between there and Ragusa. Many pot holes and nut case drivers later, we pulled in at a port for lunch. It was very hot 30 degrees ish. Some nice yachts – we decided they’re just motorhomes on water really! Carried on up to a campsite at Agrigento that we had a discount card for, and even remembered to drain the water and fill up! Lots of cats and mozzies around. Had a walk along the very busy road to the port where we discovered loads of spacious free parking – harrumph! Think we’ll be there tomorrow night.
