A bit of running around this morning trying to find somewhere that may be able to supply and fit what is, of course, a very unusual window for a motorhome…couldn’t be a normal one could it? Looking at anything from a week to a month which means us on campsites for security ☹️. The window is now taped up with the trusty gaffer tape ( Steve 😂) . We thought we might tell the Police in Lisbon that we have the location of our stolen iPad, but after being sent to different Police stations twice, we’ve given up. It’s difficult enough driving around Lisbon in a motorhome at the best of times.

We stopped at the Belem Tower for coffee and then crossed the enormous bridge out of the city. Thought we’d just head south out of the rain whilst we consider our options. We won’t know until Monday if the dealers can even get hold of a window.

Ended up at Alcacér do Sal on a little campsite – very nice for €11 per night! Walked down into the town, the houses seem to be even more crumbly than in 2017, but it’s quite a pretty place in a faded grandeur sort of way. There’s an abundance of fruit trees here – even saw avocados on our way back up the hill. It’s supposed to be warmer tomorrow – 23degrees even. The mosquitoes are getting ready for a feast!
