Another Day at Butterfly Camping Village – Peschiera

A warm day today as forecast. Good for drying two more loads of washing. Spent the morning cleaning – boo 😒! Rubbish disposal is very regimental here. They only have one place you can take it to, which is a recycling centre, open for one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. This is because it’s manned and you are given full instructions as to what can go in which bin. Bit difficult when you’ve already got a bag full of mixed up stuff! As it got quite hot about 2pm, we went to sit on the pebble beach by the lake. Quite a few people were in the water and you could see the mountains opposite more clearly today. Swans kept gliding past, wondering what the racket was coming from the man asleep next to me! 😉😂😴 Came back and was just about to get the washing in when a Dutch man came talking …by the time he left it had all gone damp again! Interesting chat though, he’s another one that raved about Romania – apparently the roads there are better than Italy’s and the people are very friendly. Incidentally, we noticed a lot of work being done on bridges as we came through the other day, about time too, but too late for those poor souls on the one that collapsed. Took Rufus back to the lake once it cooled down and watched the sun set – well, just missed it actually.
