Short drive this morning to Lake Garda. Still, the traffic was bonkers as is usual for Italy. The engine seemed to be making a vibrating warbling noise occasionally, which is a bit worrying, especially as the warranty has just run out! We think it’s stopped again now though so hopefully nothing drastic. The last time we came through Peschiera by car with the boys, we were desperately looking for somewhere to stay overnight and the whole town was booked up and packed with people. It’s a different story today – very quiet, although the campsite is nearly full with motorhomes. It’s not particularly warm and still a bit windy but good for drying washing so we’ve made a start! Walked into the town this afternoon, it’s really pretty. Rufus stayed in the van – good job by the look of the road signs…he doesn’t want to wear a muzzle and who on earth is going to ‘harvest’his organic waste!!😂
Obviously the rules don’t apply to these two English Mastiffs – my God! Scariest dogs you ever did see.
We’ve just had chicken cooked in tandoori paste in the oven. Now realising that wasn’t our best idea ever. Very nice, but think it may be a few days before we get rid of the smell!
