Another day at Camping Slapik

It’s so nice here we decided to ‘stay another day’ (there’s a song in there somewhere but it’s after my time! 😂). Haven’t done much at all. Just one load of washing as we were a bit limited on where to put the line up. Rufus sprawled out in the shade whilst we sat on the decking opposite, feeding the fish with bits of bread. I sat looking at my phone when all at once there was a big splash and a tidal wave – Guy had jumped in! He seemed to have forgotten that his shorts weren’t swim shorts and much to the German couple next to us’ amusement he seemed to be heading downstream fast against his will. Thankfully, a swift water rescue course in his former career enabled him to get back to the bank. 😂 Sat in the shade all afternoon as when the sun was out it was super hot again. Had a wander round with Rufus – one motorhome had no less than seven dogs in it…bet it smells nice in there! Had a drink at the bar then pork steak and sweet potatoe wedges for dinner. Only problem was, the paprika that Guy sprinkled on liberally when cooking, turned out to be chilli 🌶 powder!
