Well, someone’s got to do it! 🤣
Tried to head back the way we came this morning but there was a petrol tanker in the village replenishing the local station. He’d parked on the road and there was a car parked on the opposite side – no way we could get through. We waited a while, not wanting to disturb him in his work, then luckily, I found another route.

We drove round past Fanari, and realised we’d been there before!
Managed to get some photos of the cotton fields this morning – they’re amazing. Guy brought me a ready made cotton wool ball back from his photo shoot.

Got a photo of the little monastery today, but can’t find out the name of it …it’s all Greek to me!

Back at Paralia Erasmiou again now – one of the favourites. It’s a white sand beach with usually clear blue sea. Today, the place is even more deserted than usual. We expected the beach bar to be closed for winter, but more than that, he’s packed up and gone away. Still no Aperol!😭
So, we’ve had the whole beach to ourselves all afternoon, although there’s a few fishermen coming in now it’s getting dark.

Had a swim and was quite surprised by the seaweed soup but still ‘just’ about warm enough even if it is Goose Fair week!
