Got up late and decided to stay here today. It’s a fairly quiet little car park on the outskirts of Barbate. Thought we’d have a walk along the coastal path this morning but it poured with rain just as we stepped outside the van!
Nothing for it, but a game of Bananagrams to try and kick our brains back into action. 😂
We watched Fozzy’s funeral online at 2:30 – seemed very strange to kind of be at a funeral from afar but nice in lots of ways. We thought it was a very fitting send off for him.
Finally went for a walk late afternoon to the Mirador Torre del Tajo. We followed a slightly uphill path which followed the coast until we reached the sixteenth century watchtower. It was all closed off, but good views of cliffs from its base. Thankfully, the sun shone all the way back and we started to warm up a bit.
