Carried on meandering up the coastal road this morning towards Aljezur and called in at Praia da Amoreira. Another great surfy beach that we looked down on from a headland. The countryside started to look a bit greener and more hilly as we carried on driving up to Praia de Odeceixe (wonder how you pronounce that!?). Found a great place to park for the night on another headland. We walked down to the beach with Rufus with the idea of getting out of the wind. One of the streets in the tiny seaside village was the steepest I’ve ever walked down or up. The houses were all quite pretty and well kept but the place was totally deserted ….think they were all holiday homes. On the beach, Rufus fell asleep immediately and started snoring, closely followed by Guy. I watched the surfers 🏄 trying to stand up on some fairly big waves. Walked back up the steep hill and decided to turn the motorhome round so we could sit in the last bit of sunshine with a glass of wine. We watched the sun go down listening to some chilled Ibiza by which time we were completely chilled….to the bone!😂 It was almost perfect but for the need for two jumpers and a fleece.
