A599C36F-8300-46D0-9519-7F239DAF6E69Assuming that the drizzly weather wasn’t going to change very quickly, we decided to go to a campsite and get the washing done. They all seem to use tumble dryers here anyway and if there’s nowhere to put a line up, it doesn’t leave us much choice.
Found this lovely site in the Acsi book – it seems we are already in low season here, so there are discounts to be had now. We’ve noticed that the trees are starting to look decidedly autumnal and the weather is definitely matching it today. Also, the campsite owner asked if we liked the Norwegian Autumn, so its not just our imagination!CB1F6E12-3406-4E5E-94D8-E3CB3764A7EC7717E528-9855-4D0B-B4F6-6EA64404B350
The campsite is nearly a kilometre long and runs directly alongside the fjord…plenty of space to park where you like and amazing views.
We decided to have a walk into Trefjord as it looked like there was some kind of festival on. We started off on a path that became not a path and ended up on the road. When we got there, the ‘festival’ was actually a car boot cum antiques fair, £5 entry – we didn’t bother. Some great classic cars and trucks came out though. Got soaked walking back, but we did manage to sit outside for an hour when the sun tried its best…Mr Bramley did some snoring. Still too-ing and fro-ing with the washing at 9:15pm ….just waiting to pick up all our ‘child size’ clothes after the tumbley has done with them!D31D6A88-6B26-40CA-9779-EDFFA251ED7A
