Got up late after a surprisingly quiet night in the car park. It wasn’t looking promising when boyo racer came screeching in, did a few circles, then parked an inch away from us in an otherwise empty car park! Clown 🤡
Had a drive through Fishguard, looked quite nice but narrow streets and no parking.
On to Cardigan, where it was cold and starting to rain. Busy, colourful, little streets by a river…daren’t stay long though as motorhomes weren’t welcome. 😬
The driver then took it upon himself to take us out towards a headland at llangrannog. Most roads looked like they were half the width of our motorhome. Route one, we were too tall. Route two, we were too wide. Route three, we were so flipping hungry got back on the A road to New Quay.
Overnight parking allowed – hurray! On such a slope it gives you vertigo – booo!
The town and harbour are quite pretty but the smell of chips is absolutely everywhere, as are bags of rubbish on peoples doorsteps. Maybe the bin men are due tomorrow.
The highlight of the afternoon, other than seeing an Airedale, was watching the harbour porpoises leaping out of the sea…amazing!

Back at the van, trying to work out how we’re going to get three loads of washing done with the constant threat of rain.

Beautiful Airedale.
