A very late wake-up this morning and grey skies, which usually don’t hang around very long in these parts.
We set off around the Seville ring road to Carmona on the other side. The entrance to the motorhome parking was blocked off so we came in through the exit. It was quite funny watching all the creative driving techniques of people trying to get in off the main road. Trees everywhere, so not easy!

We walked up and into the old town without having lunch first – bad idea on a Sunday as everybody is out eating and drinking. It was a lovely, if confusing, place full of narrow streets and moorish towers and church spires which all looked a bit similar. It felt quite cold so we didn’t hang around too long then made our way back to the van for lunch.

Moved on to Ecija mid afternoon, but the motorhome parking was already full. We’ve managed to squeeze into a space that isn’t really a space, but we’re right next to the main road – could be a noisy night!
Heavy rain so we’ve decided to save the town for tomorrow. Suppose I’ll have to let Guy win at cards again!
