Had a great walk into the lovely town of Étretat this morning. We thought the rock formations were very similar to Durdle Door in Dorset. There were paths that led quite high up the cliffs on each side of the beach – we did both and the views were spectacular. Back down in the town, we called in the boulangerie for some bread and inadvertently came out with two apple tarts as well. 🙄

Narrowly missing a hail storm, we warmed up with some soup out of the freezer. As I was finishing the last two bites of my ‘tarte aux pommes’ Guy said “Do you want me to help you with that? Blink if you need help…” I gave him a hard stare – he’s obviously watched ‘The Revenant’ too many times.

This afternoon we tried to get the water problem sorted. There was still no pressure this morning – you have to run round in the shower to get wet. We spent about three hours at Havre Caravano, whilst two very helpful chaps tried everything they could possibly think of. I’m so impressed – you’d never get seen straight away at Lowdhams or Don Amotts…it’d be come back in six weeks. They went methodically through everything that Guy was thinking of trying, including several different water pumps. We’ve now got a super duper monster pump and the pressure is back. It’s a bit noisy but seems to have sorted the problem. Another £250, but it felt like a bargain for all the work they put in. Not cheap, this motorhoming lark!
