Had a bit of a tour around the rest of the area this morning after we’d got ourselves sorted. I think we were in the Amvakikros Wetlands National Park. Again, lots of causeways and narrow roads turning into gravel track. Lots of insects about and a few birds, mainly Flamingoes. No pelicans about though, probably the wrong time of year now.
Drove out to the coast when the tracks ran out and ended up parking by a vast beach for lunch.
Sunny and warm again, so this is where we’ve stayed! Two other people on the beach, hardly any traffic on the road and a couple of other vans parked nearby.
A very different sea today though. Lots of waves and got thrown around in it – quite good fun, but a bit too wild for swimming.
