We caught the bus into Lagos this morning – timed it perfectly for once. Thought we’d missed the stop when it took a strange route around the back roads first. Saw quite a lot of stuff that we missed last time we were here – mainly spectacular rocks and beaches. Guy is so relieved to have something to photograph that warrants carrying ten tons of camera around. Walked through all the rock formations with Guy snapping a photo of the ‘daily dog’ and giving serious thought to the tsunami warning signs 😬! Tried to find the old town for lunch but somehow walked everywhere else first.

Thirty minutes walk out to a headland then to see the Ponta da Piedade – more spectacular rocks, but you could also walk down some steps into a grotto. Walking back up magically turned out legs to jelly. We then decided to walk back to the campsite as we were on the right side of town. An hour and a half later we staggered through the campsite gates – 10 miles total – I didn’t moan once 🤣 zzz
