Motorway today, bringing us to Thessaloniki and then out to the coast just past Halkidiki. Greece as we remember it – park on the beach under a tree, white sand and warm blue sea!
Called at Lidl on the outskirts of Thessaloniki and stocked up with all the goodies – plenty of feta cheese 😄then carried on to the coast.
There were lots of parking choices here but not many with shade or without plastic rubbish and baby wipes …I’m sure that Greece is gradually drowning in its own rubbish.
Struck lucky as we just managed to squeeze under a pine tree. Waited for it to cool down a bit, then had a big swim. Lovely!
