Left Rufus for an hour in the motorhome this morning while we ran up the path and jumped in a cable car up to the old town at the top of San Marino. It was really steep but only a couple of minutes ride. Well worth the trip as it was really beautiful – lots of old churches and stunning views. Then we set off towards Ancona, but once again the roads were dire. Even the straight ones are full of bumps. Got on the motorway even though it was for a short distance. We’ve found a lovely spot called Portonovo just south of Ancona (although it took some getting here!). A thin strip of white pebble beach backed by green hills and woodland. There are a couple of beach restaurants so as it’s Friday, we’re going for the big night out!!!😁😁😁
