Walked in to the town this morning – wow! What a place. Set on a hilltop with a walkway all the way around the city walls. Colourful medieval buildings everywhere, towers, church spires, clocks …everything. Shops selling all manner of German food, wine, wooden toys and several Christmas themed places …whaaaa!!?? We had a coffee with a Sneeball – which looked amazing but just tasted like deep fried pastry really. Guy went up a tower to take some pictures …I’m so glad I declined as even he came down shaking like a leaf! Think the spiral staircase got narrower and narrower, turned into wooden steps then he climbed out on to a foot wide balcony with a metal railing to stop you falling. Sure the husband’s been up tower cranes in his working life so must’ve been bad. Drove on towards Nuremberg thinking we’d have lunch there, but changed our minds as there was no real parking in the centre. Eventually stopped by a park in a little town and had lunch and a Rufus wander. Now, we’re up towards the border with the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 and will head for Prague tomorrow. Parked on a totally free site with hedges round each emplacement for motorhomes plus all facilities – even free electricity for those who get the working connections!
