Santiago de Compostela to Foz

After a discussion by email with Hayes Leisure, who we bought the motorhome from, it appears the leisure battery is definitely on the blink as it’s not holding its charge for as long as it should. Our first really frosty morning today and the heating wouldn’t switch on unless we turned the engine on ❄️😱. It warms up really quickly but it makes getting up really difficult when it’s not our forte anyway! It not covered under warranty but they’ve said they’ll cover the cost. Finding one in Spain though may be an issue! I did some driving today along the A roads to Foz and am now on a PDP for ploughing across a roundabout that I didn’t even see!! Apparently, I need to work on my observational skills and am responsible for my own learning. 🤣🤣🤣 I did see lots of pilgrims walking along by the road though – brave, considering I was behind the wheel of a large automobile (80’s lyric in there somewhere!). Stopped for lunch in a town called Mondenedo and then tried to fill up with water – the brand new hose pipe is now leaking….turning into one of those days! We’ve parked just to the East of Foz overlooking some amazing beaches …think this one is called Praia de As Catedrals. The tide is in and the sea is wild at the moment but think there maybe some good rock formations to see tomorrow.
