Much colder this morning when we finally surfaced; had been kept awake half the night with the rain hammering on the roof.
Drove back down to Uig first and managed to fill up with water at a garage. £5 – paid separately- cash only 😂

Took the long and winding road around the top of the island, passing many sheep but not much else. It became more rocky as we started down the east coast and I think the views would have been spectacular if it had been clear.

We turned off and drove up a steep track to the Quiraing car park. Huge rocks around but they could barely be seen in the mist – also ‘no parking for motorhomes’!

Stopped at Kilt Rock View Point to see the waterfall and have a late lunch – pasta pesto …nothing else left!

On to Portree for a big shop in a tiny Co op – like going back in time! Nice little town with a harbour and a bit of entertainment in the form of a little band playing drums in the square.

Bit cold to hang around, so now back up at Kilt Rock for a better nights sleep hopefully.
