We had a walk around Tivoli Park this morning. It was much hotter than yesterday and we found ourselves seeking out shade. Apart from a nice lake with a lot of water lilies on, it wasn’t quite what we expected.
On the way back we came across another really decorative church – Srbska Pravoslavna cerkev metropolija! Not a clue how to pronounce it, but glad we stuck our heads in. I’m always amazed by all the people, young and old, putting money in slots and kissing pictures of saints. Big Covid risk there surely?
Drove back to some free services that we used yesterday for water etc. Except, they were totally different ones that looked almost the same – not sure how we did that; in fact we had no idea where we were for quite a while. 🙄😂
The rest of the day was a bit of a boring drive but glad we chose the toll roads as even they weren’t great. Passports stamped out of Slovenia then we followed the border with Bosnia along the top of Croatia. Nowhere to stop and nothing to see really.
Finally landed in a town called Slavonski Brod and parked by the river Sava which is the border between Croatia and Bosnia. It was quite peaceful when we had a walk earlier but now it seems like the whole world has come out for a Sunday night walk. Good sunset though.
